My name is Norman Bailey and it is with great pleasure that I can announce my takeover of Aldbourne Taxis.
I retired from 36 years Service in the Royal Air Force Police Special Investigation Branch in 2008. Shortly afterwards I started working as a part time Private Hire Driver operating out of Marlborough which included driving a number of high profile professional artists and business personell.
During this time, following a government approved course I attained an NVQ Level 2 qualification in Passenger Transport and joined Aldbourne Taxis as a full time driver in May 2010. In Feb 2011, following a Security Industry Authority (SIA) approved course at Swindon College, I was awarded a SIA licence. I am currently undertaking a recognised UK Health & Safety Appointed Person Emergency First Aid Course.
The Aldbourne Taxis team also includes local residents John Welch and Lisa Watkin, who, like me, are both CRB checked and licensed to drive both Hackney (Taxi) and Private Hire Vehicles. We will continue to provide a first class and competitive passenger transport service in and around Aldbourne and we look forward to serving the local community to the high standards that the have come to expect from Aldbourne Taxis over the years.
